“THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI” is Robert Weine’s 1919 classic, expressionist, silent film. I am currently creating new orchestral score for this and revising my orchestral score for FW Murnau’s “Nosferatu.” These scores are being created for prospective live performance. This video, Act 1 of Weine’s film, presents the score as a work in progress realized by computers:
“DETERMINED” is a short film produced by two time Oscar nominee Matt O’Neill, to open a recent anti-war conference at the United Nations. The score was assembled from my orchestral library:
“NOSFERATU” this is a short clip from the Dublin Film Festival performance of my orchestral score for the FW Murnau Classic. The orchestra is members of Ireland’s RTE orchestra conducted by Luc Brewaeys::
“NOSFERATU IN DUBLIN” is a short documentary about my score for the 1922 FW Murnau classic which was commissioned by the Dublin Film Festival and premiered as a festival event by members of Ireland’s RTE orchestra at the National Concert Hall, Dublin
“A GRANDSON REMEMBERS” is a pro bono project for presentation at a fundraiser for the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous which took place at NY’s Waldorf Astoria. The film relates the story of how a gentile family protected and sheltered at Jewish family in Poland during the Holocaust. My score, based on Hebraic themes, was realized with samplers.
